Content Guidelines
for submitting tour informationr
The quality and quantity
of information you provide when you list your tours with us
can
make a HUGE DIFFERENCE to the number of queries and booking
you receive for your tours. Remember initial impressions count
for
a lot and there are many options on the market for travelers
at any given moment.
Here are a few guidelines to help you with compiling tour information:
Try have your copy professionally
written and spell-checked - selling online is about persuasion
and professional copywriters can assist you in crafting descriptions
that encourage potential clients to make contact
Emphasise the unique selling point of the tour. This may
be a particular location, the variety of attractions it covers,
the price
or the uniqueness of the experience or location.
Use emotive language (but don't overdo it). Going on vacation
is about fulfilling your dreams, whether its a need for tranquility,
adventure, excitement or new experiences, potential clients
need a taste of what they are looking for.
Keep your descriptions short and to the point but give
enough information to generate the desire to make contact
with your company
Use relevant key words in your descriptions so
that search engines can find your Tour Pages when people
search with these words. These include the most popular locations
and attractions included
in your
tour, the length of the tour and departure and arrival points.
Always include the cost of the tour if possible - even
if you specify this needs to be confirmed with the enquiry
Photographs - send the best pictures you can get - not
only of attractions but also include photographs of people
on the tour, the tour guides and/or owners for that personal
touch!
