Via Dullstroom and the Blyde River Canyon, our first destination is Lekgalameetse Nature Reserve, which is part of the Drakensberg Mountains with lush kloofs, indigenous forests and is a birders’ paradise. Our second destination is Moholoholo Nature Reserve and Rehabilitation Centre for abandoned and injured wildlife. Then off to another wildlife experience, Kruger National Park, for the last two nights.
Kenya is one of the most superb birding destinations in the world. Add the huge numbers and variety of mammals and the large diversity of scenery and you really do have the ingredients for a wonderful experience. This tour has been arranged to visit some of the best birding sites in the country and to see as many bird species as possible.
8 Day - Trans-Lesotho Tour traverses the small Southern African country of Lesotho from east to west. Starting at Sani Pass, exiting at Tele Bridge and ending at McClear in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. The tour includes Mokhotlong, Katse Dam, Katse Village, Marakabie and Maletsuyane falls.
Wildlife and Zulu Cultural Tour. Visit Simunye Zulu Lodge hosted by the Zulus of the area, St. Lucia (Isimangoliso Wetland Park) where you will have the opportunity to go on a launch cruise to view hippos and crocodiles close up, Hluhluwe / Imfolozi Game Reserve, home to the “Big 5”.
