You will of course want to see the Big Five - lion, African elephant, African buffalo, Black rhino and leopard, but there are countless other exotic and interesting animals that inhabit the game parks of South Africa. Put giraffe, zebra, gemsbok, kudu, and waterbuck on your list of the most elegant. Wild dogs, hyena and jackal are shrewd and wily predators. Warthog, Aardvarks and porcupines find their homes underground, while wildebeest and hippo have unpredicatable and colourful temperaments. And of course, the swiftest animal on earth, the King cheatah, is arguably also the most beautiful.
