| Day 1 |
|
We will greet and welcome you to South Africa on your arrival,and transfer you to your hotel. After you have rested we will have a late afternoon visit to Table Mountain where you can take the cable car to the summit over a kilometer high.We will then visit the world famous Victoria and Alfred waterfront where you have a choice of over 50 restaurants for dinner. | Day 2 |
|
After a hearty breakfast we will visit all the attractions of the Cape Peninsula including , the Victorian Village of Simonstown, Cape Point Nature Reserve and the lovely fishing village of Hout Bay. Overnight Cape Town dinner included at the Hotel

| Day 3 |
|
| This morning we will travel up the West Coast offering picture postcard views of Table Mountain and the city Overnight Cape Town where dinner is included at the Hotel. |
| Day 4 |
|
After an early checkout, we will head inland on our way to Montagu. As we travel you will notice a dramatic change in the scenery and vegetation as we enter the Klein Karoo (semi desert area). We will overnight at a hot water springs resort where you are able to use all the facilities on offer.

| Day 5 |
|
After breakfast we will head further inland passing charming farming communities as we head for the Ostrich capital of the World, namely Oudtshoorn. We will visit the Prehistoric Cango Caves with its fascinating formations where a specialist guide will escort you on this tour. Overnight in Oudtshoorn

| Day 6 |
|
This morning we will visit one of the famous Ostrich farms where you will learn more about these flightless birds, after which we head for the sleepy seaside village of Wilderness this is the heart of the Garden Route. During this trip we traverse a very high mountain pass offering stunning views of the surrounding area. Overnight in Wilderness.

| Day 7 |
|
After an early breakfast we will take you to the interesting railway museum where you will board a steam train for the 2,5 hour journey through the lake district. Part of this journey is also along the coast with lovely scenery, destination being the Oyster capital of South Africa Knysna. After some time exploring this charming village voted the prettiest in SA we have an afternoon surprise visit. Past guests have described this as a very humbling experience.Overnight in Wilderness.

| Day 8 |
|
Today we continue along the Garden Route and will visit Mossel Bay sight of the arrival of the first Europeans over 500 years ago. After lunch we will head for the private Game Lodge and you will be taken on a game drive to view the animals. This is the first game reserve to re introduce the big 5 (Elephants, Rhino, Lion, Buffalo and Leopard) into the Western Cape region, and because it is not a large park we always have lovely sightings. Dinner is traditional South African served in a Boma (traditional African eating hut) and is included.

| Day 9 |
|
Before breakfast you will be taken out again in open Landrovers to see the animals. We will then leave the Reserve and will travel through the Overberg region of farmlands our destination being the most southern point of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. You will overnight at a guest house here

| Day 10 |
|
After breakfast we will visit the longest white sand beach in the southern hemisphere and also visit the rugged most southern point on the continent where the 2 oceans meet. We will then travel further into the Overberg and you will spend the next 3 days in Kleinmond where there are lovely sightings of the whales (July to November). Overnight Kleinmond.

| Day 11 |
|
This morning we will have a half day visit to Hermanus regarded as one of the best places in the world for land based whale watching (July to November). This past season the helicopter count in the bay was 80 of these gentle giants. There is also a lovely African craft market in the town. Afternoon in Kleinmond to relax and enjoy the beach or swimming. Overnight Kleinmond.

| Day 12 |
|
Today we will visit the Botanical Gardens and hope to see the resident Baboons and large tortoises and might just be lucky enough to see one of the elusive Leopards that also inhabit this area. There are over 150 species of birds as well, including the beautiful humming birds. These gardens are also home to our national flower the King Protea. Overnight Kleinmond

| Day 13 |
|
After checkout we will travel the coastal route regarded as one of the loveliest drives in the world with spectacular views.We will then visit one of the most historical and beautiful wine farms of the winelands region before heading for the second oldest town in South Africa, namely Stellenbosch and its beautiful Oak lined streets. You will overnight at a country Inn dating back over 200 years with its lovely courtyard.

| Day 14 |
|
Late morning we will visit the Cheetah sanctuary where you will have great photo opportunities with these gracious and endangered cats, if you wish you can have your photo taken with them as they are tame. After lunch at one of the wine estates we will take you to the airport for your flight home and are sure you will take home many wonderful memories, and we will wish you Hamba Kahle (Zulu language for “Go in Peace”)
